UAAP Glory

I have always been a fan of college basketball, way back from the glory days of Ren-Ren Ritualo and Enrico Villanueva.  So when I finally got the chance to watch UAAP last Saturday with Timmy and Racheal (last time I checked, twas 4 yrs ago since I last watched), I grabbed the opportunity to get some photo-op with the players! Hahaha!

L to R (Timmy, JR Cawaling and me!)

L to R (Racheal, RR Garcia plus the fan)

the 5 feet me plus the 6 feet plus Ramos :)
Such a sweetheart! Here's Jens Knuttel :)

My prized possession of the night!! <3
Cawaling seems gwapo to me in person! He's not that photogenic nga lang.
Garcia was so nice! He was talking to other people when he noticed us walking towards him, tagging along a camera. And so he said, "Teka lang ha?" and approached us. Remain humble RR!! You are the next big thing! :)
Ramos was so tall. Before he stooped down for our picture, I literally looked up to him!! I like his pagka-moreno :)
Jens was such a sweetheart! He's adorbs! Nice smile indeed.

Tadah!! Simon Atkins was hurrying when he came out from the dug-out since he got injured after RR accidentally elbowed him "ata" during the game. So the fan was persistent enough to get a pic and was successful. At the bground is his girlfriend :)

I remember Timmy and Racheal looking so ashamed as we patiently waited for the players to come out! Hahaha I am so sorry for causing you so much shame. But you made me happy!!

More UAAP next Saturday! Lezgo FEU!!! (I seriously need to memorize some FEU cheers! I am arming myself not only claps but chants next game!! :)

Yo main man!

Papa celebrated his birthday yesterday! He turned 49 :) (No more denying Papa, please.)

I've known the guy since I was born and should I spill on some of his secrets? Hahaha! :)

1. Papa is one of the vainest guys in the world! (or atleast in our household) When we come home from grocery shopping, one of our kasambahays will ask "Kuya, san ko po ilalagay itong mga lotion at facial wash ni ate?" To which Papa replies "Ay, akin yan. Akin na!" Hahaha! He will ask me from time to time what are the latest facial wash or anti ageing creams in the market. He is my favorite vanity companion. One time he even bought me pressed powder and blush on! Sweet <3

2. He is a good singer! Really! As in his week is never complete without a videoke night out with his boys or officemates. His love for music is so huge that no one of us can compete with it.

3. He snores LOUDLY. as in loud to the nth level! I am so sorry for revealing this Paps but sometimes we can't sleep because of it! As one of my sibling says "We know Papa is already asleep if he starts to snore bigtime!"

4.He is our friend. He may be strict at justified times, but he is our friend! :) He understands us and just like a true friend, never fails to go past our judgement. When he doesn't have any to give, he still gives. When he can't do it, he still can just for our sake. (My eyes are beginning to build tears) *sniff sniff*

Papa, Happy Happy Birthday! We are so blessed to have you and we thank God for the wonderful person that you are! You are our main man! We will not fail you. We love you so much!

What's inside my bag?

The make up junkie that I am right now wants to show off my daily beauty loot. The things I cannot live without!

(Loreal Undying Rose Lip Gloss, Fresh 4u2 Pressed Powder No. 2, Chic Blush No. 4 4u2 with blush brush, Jelly Lip Balm 4u2 and Clean & Clear Oil Control film)
The Loreal lip gloss was given to me by my Tita Esing when she got back from New Zealand. I don't know if it's cheaper there, but one thing is for sure, Tita knows the lip color suited for my morena skin! Bright colored lipsticks are not good for morenas. So from then on, I always opted for peach and orange-y shades! Works for me! :) The pot of my jelly lip balm is from 4u2 as well. If there's one thing I can't live without, it has to be lip balms!!! I hate chapped lips, it ruins your look.

I was looking for a good kind of pressed powder for a long time. I have a very oily skin making it hard for me to find something that will give me good and lasting coverage. I've only tried Johnson's & Johnson's, Clean & Clear and Maybelline. But they end up with a cake-y feeling plus it makes my face look whiter than my neck! Horrible effect! One day I was strolling in the mall and this saleslady came up to me and started putting 4u2 pressed powder on my face! I immediately liked the effect since it appears matte and it stays long! It also has a mountain-y minty scent plus it comes with a good puff applicator. Yun nga lang, they have no refill so you have to buy the compact again when you run out of this good stuff!!

I hate it when I look pale! So as a pick me upper, I put on some blush for the instant color! The blush color I use should not be really red or pink. So like my lip gloss, I opt for peach and orange shades. I used a cheek tint before but it was too pink for me so I just use that for instant color for my lips :) My Nichido blush brush was way back from 2nd year college pa! It's strands did withstand the test of time! Hahaha but Im planning to buy the Buki Brush from ellana minerals soon :)

My sebaceous glands are overworking BIGTIME. I have oily skin and I can fill up with oil the oil sheet with just a few blot. Clean and Clear absorbs the oil very well leaving your face shine free. Before I put on face powder for touch ups, it's best to blot your face first para less ang cake-y feeling.

Then yesterday I chanced upon Etude House in SM Fairview! I knew the line from the blog of pretty Tricia Gosingtian a few weeks back and I am smitten! So, I just had to buy this!!

Etude House Lip Tint # 4 and Etude House Eye Brow Pencil # 1
Love it!!! <3
